A Long Overdue Update!

Hello all you members of the blog-o-sphere! I have been quite ashamed at my blogging attendence so this long update post will hopefully suffice. (Well not too long, I have readings to do for school--of course!)

So here's what we've been up to!

- Back in November Andrew and I went to the US National White Water Center in Charlotte, NC. We had been there one before for his birthday in June but we had so much fun that we wanted to go back! That last time all we were able to do was kyaking and white water rafting. After those two activities our day was pretty much spent (as were we!) so in November we were able to do some rockclimbing, mountain biking, the ropes course, and many times down the zipline. It was really nice because it wasn't busy so we were able to go pretty much from the finish right back to the start. We ate again at the cafe there that convienently sells veggie burgers and sweet potato fries (it also has carnivore food) that were right up my alley! I love places that cater to the "granola" crowd! Here are some pictures we took that day....

Rock Climbing....

After the zipline....

Eating yummy food...well before the food actually got to the table...

Sadly, I neglected to take any pictures during Christmas (my Dad held down the fort there) so here are pictures from our next big holiday (and yes it is a holiday in my family)..SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!

Andrew had reserves that weekend and I missed him dearly so I decided to make all sorts of yummy stuff before he came back to have a little welcome back party for him! He made it back just in time to make a burger before the kick off. I decided to capitalize on this opportunity of sitting and watching the t.v. for hours and had Andrew help me finish assembling our wedding invitations! Andrew was responsible for putting stamps on the response card envelopes and I then stuffed them in the big envelopes. Word to the wise* the only downfall of capitalizing on your fiancees love of sports by making him both watch sports and affix stamps onto an envelope is that you will get the occasional upside-down stamp or even a stamp in the wrong corne. No matter, I became quite adept at removing and replacing the stamps so that the mistakes were no longer noticeable!

In the recent weekends Andrew and I have been to dances, to movies, and so many other things! Hopefully this re-cap will suffice and I can blog more often in the near future! But in the mean time here are some pictures we took at the Whitewater Center when we had some free time to tide you over until our next long-awaited (HA!) post.....
